Hawaiian Style Ceremonies

Ti Leaf Alter

An alter is made of Ti Leaves as the Ti plant is a sacred plant in Hawaii, offering spiritual protection.

The Ti Leaves are arranged on the ground along with a scatter of orchids. Set on top is a Koa bowl and coconut shells that are used in the "Water Ceremony." Along side of the Koa bowl are two orchid and ti leaf leis for the "Lei Ceremony." There is also a Conch Shell and Ukulele.

Sound of the Conch

The Ceremonies open with the beckoning call of the conch shell and include Hawaiian chants, prayers and blessings in English and Hawaiian. These are combined with your individual religious or spiritual style of choice.

"The Hawaiian Wedding Song"

"The Hawaiian Wedding Song" is sung and played on ukulele at the conclusion of the ceremony.

After congratulating the married couple, "Hawaii Aloha" is sung and played on the ukulele. This is a special Hawaiian song that is sung at all the State and local gatherings in Hawaii.

Ceremonies are Performed at Beautiful Beaches, Public Parks and Locations of Choice on Oahu and the Big Island of Hawaii

MY SERVICES ARE VOLUNTEER; HOWEVER, FOR THE CEREMONY, I DO REQUEST A TAX DEDUCTIBLE DONATION OF $275 BE MADE TO THE TAOACT FOUNDATION, A NON PROFIT ORGANIZATION FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF ALTERNATIVE TREATMENTS OF CANCER AND OTHER DEGENERATIVE DISEASES. THE FOUNDATION IS A 501 c 3, TAX EXEMPT ORGANIZATION AND ALL DONATIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE
